The End

Luther: "Today through God we have received the sound Gospel in rich measure. We, too, must have no doubt that some great calamity and change of all things threaten. Because of His goodness, God Almighty warns us, just as He warned the Jews with many prophets and an abundance of words. He calls us to repent, but just as they held all things in great contempt, so also do we. So what happened to the Jews when they despised the Word is undoubtedly going to happen also to us when we despise it."

Today's "Jews" are blinded by, "Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." But they want to "call" in their own way, ignoring God's way. What has always been God's way? What "call" does God hear? He hears the trembling voice carried on the wings of His Promises which are always attached to something in the physical domain, such as animal skins, fire, rainbows, circumcision; baptism and communion. In this way God Almighty subdues our pride and reliance on the flesh, always reminding us that SALVATION IS OF THE LORD.

ONLY those people who believe this mystery of Godliness, that a Supreme God would act so foolishly so as to tie, unite, intertwine our salvation to water, wine and bread, know how to humbly and in faith believing, call upon the name of the Lord. This kind of calling is an eternity from will-worship—a need to make a decision for their Christ. You see, the decision God made for them in/at their baptism is despised, insufficient, ineffectual and quite frankly, ridiculous to their arrogant minds. They must go beyond and above the Word of God which God has always allowed those of base minds to do, resolute as they are to follow the way which seems right, proper and holy to them.

It saddens and perplexes my mind that God allows the Great Herd of mankind to go their own way while preserving only a remnant. I know that I am a part of the rich history of God's Remnant, and I know I have done NOTHING to deserve said status—NOTHING. Even though I see clearly how God, according to His wisdom and will, has led and preserved me throughout my whole life, I see and feel even more clearly, deeply, and reverently that I have done NOTHING, contributed NOTHING, and deserve NOTHING but hell. Even though God's choosing seems capricious to me, the capriciousness of man wherein he despises, confutes, ignores, perverts and rebels against God's clear Word and Work is even clearer to me. Man's perversion is so great that it is an amazing thing that even One has been redeemed of all the throngs of mankind!

Those who follow God's Word have always been in the minute minority, while those who pervert God's Word have always been in the magnificent majority. This dynamic gives them a bold arrogance and insolence whereby they prove on the basis of numbers the correctness of their perversion. This dynamic fits in well with how God likes to do things; for our benefit He is zealous to operate behind the weakness of the Remnant. This keeps the Remnant humble, gives the Masses more time to repent, and proves insulting to them when they experience how they have been so easily felled by such infinite weakness. What volumes could those of Noah's day write! Those at Babel! What do you think those of Sodom would now write about blessed Lot? What an interesting book the Jews who were killed by God in the wilderness over 40 years could write about the weakness and foolishness of Joshua and Caleb. Mary wrote a blessed psalm concerning the arrogance of the Many, which psalm we, unfortunately, reflect upon once a year. Look at what the whole world has written in response to twenty seven short books written by a few followers of Christ. And look now at the last 500 years since God elucidated the Gospel of God through Martin Luther how the whole world has written against him. SEE! how we have degenerated to such an extent that only one family faithfully adheres to the Promise, the Truth, the Blessedness of the Word. Oh how His ways are higher than our ways!

God must now, in these Last Days, severely judge our gross ingratitude or apologize to the Old World, Babel, Sodom, the Jews and countless empires. Judgment is coming soon. I would be a liar if I said I knew exactly what was going to happen. But this is what I do know: I know that God has allowed unbelief to pervert mankind all that He is able to bear; and I know that He has allowed false preachers to mislead the people as much as He is able to bear; and I know that He has allowed greed to trample upon the poor of the world while corporations enjoy untold wealth and bounty the likes of which the world has never seen—not even Solomon's kingdom. I know that soon the world will be experiencing the full force of Revelation 18.

Here's what's clear about the Minor Prophets, as all of Scripture—they speak of Christ. Specifically, the Minor Prophets speak expressly of His coming Kingdom within the context of the coming of the end of the Jewish kingdom. God ordained that Christ would be incubated by the offspring of Abraham; when Christ came this Incubator was unplugged by the Assyrians and the Babylonians but persisted until the time of Christ through the root of Jesse, the Virgin Mary, specifically and especially. The Jews just could not believe—refused to believe—the manner in which the Promise of the Messiah was to be fulfilled. They fought against the simplicity and humiliation of Christ's coming. As a result God removed from them the tabernacle and priesthood, which has been unavailable to them for 2,000 years; still, they await their coming Messiah—so great is their enmity against Almighty God and His ways.

Here are the primary and essential facts regarding the First Coming of Who Eve looked and longed for, as found in the Minor Prophets:

Christ would replace the synagogue—the dishonorable son. Malachi 1:6

John Baptist (Elijah) will come to prepare the way for Christ by making their hearts humble by means of the Law. Malachi 3:1 (The proper ministry of the Law removes trust in human reason, self-love, one's own wisdom and one's own righteousness.)

Christ will come immediately after John. Malachi 3:1

Many will be offended when He appears. Malachi 3:2 Christ is a stumbling block to most. "Blessed is he who takes no offense at Me." Matthew 11:6

Christ's Kingdom is spiritual, a blazing fire which purifies within.     Malachi 3:2     Just as fire separates impurities from silver, so Christ will do to us. "The promises of the Lord are promises that are pure, silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times."    Psalm 12:6

Christ's throne (seat) is one of teaching—a kingdom based not on an army but on renewing souls. Malachi 3:3 Scripture is a very bright light, but to the wicked it is pure darkness. The fact that the sun is darkness to the blind is not the fault of the sun.

All will be priests in the coming Kingdom—all will be sons of Levi. Malachi 3:3 Our sacrificial system is one of offerings in righteousness. Psalm 132:9 "Let Thy priests be clothed with righteousness."

Because of the coming Christ, Jacob was not destroyed for his wickedness. Malachi 3:6

Christ's Kingdom would not be without sin, and would be a Kingdom of forgiveness and sparing. Malachi 3:17

His Kingdom will be pure light, whereas the Law was pure darkness. Malachi 4:1

Christ's Kingdom will protect us as a hen protects her chicks under her wings. Malachi 4:2

Christ's Kingdom will increase and be filled with the playful strength of a calf let out of his stall. Malachi 4:2

Christ's Kingdom will tread down It's enemies—heretics, death, sin, etc. Malachi 4:3

The whole world was close to utter destruction before Christ came. Malachi 4:6

Christ would allure His people with tender words to her heart which will make us sing. Hosea 2:13-15

Christ will take us as His bride; God will have compassion on our weakness so long as we live justly—reject our wisdom, knowledge and righteousness. Hosea 2:19

The Gospel will come as a dawn which is not held back and with timely showers; evening rain because it is the Word of the cross; morning rain because the Word is comfort and re-creation. Hosea 6:3

Confession of sin and a thirst for grace will be the voice of the New People. Hosea 14:2

The course of the Word will be so swift that the plowman will overtake the reaper. Amos 9:13

The whole world shall be subject to Jacob through the preaching of the Gospel and the Church will be incorruptibly holy. Obadiah 17

No one will frighten those who cling to the Word. Micah 4:4

From the Weak Christ will make unto Himself a strong Nation and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against It. Micah 4:7

Christ would come from an insignificant portion of Judah—Bethlehem Ephrathah. That faith might be made certain, a definite person, place, and time had to be designated for the newborn church. Micah 5:2

Christ's origin was "from of old." Micah 5:2 "In the beginning was the Word." John 1:1

The synagogue will last until the Gospel is spread in part throughout the world. Micah 5:3

Jews and Gentiles are brothers in Christ. Micah 5:3

This New People will experience a new king of fighting—with the Word of the Lord. Micah 5:4

Christ will be a Savior to the Lame. Zephaniah 3:19

Christ turns our shame into His confessing us before His Father. Zephaniah 3:19

Christ makes us renowned. Zephaniah 3:20

The Treasure of Christ is so great the Gentiles were completely unaware of even being able to desire It. Haggai 2:7

The prophets are a goldmine for finding out about the ministry of Christ; precious truths which we now understand with the benefit of hindsight and the New Testament which the prophets did not have access to, but believed just the same. Peter tells us there was much they did not understand, which were a mystery to them just as the events of the Last Days are a mystery to us. They knew by the Word of the Lord that the Redeemer was going to come and that He was going to suffer. This is about all we know: we know Christ is coming again and that the world is going to suffer. The particulars will make sense—from Eternity's perspective.

In the meantime, we hold fast to the clear Word and Promise of God: THIS IS MY BODY, THIS IS MY BLOOD, GIVEN TO YOU FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. God's people of today will no more believe they will be displaced to Hell and destroyed when they are so zealous for God any more than the Jews believed God would reject them, disperse them, and destroy their sacrificial system. Man just will not let go of his reason and self-righteousness and believe the simple Promise of God. Furthermore, Man wants to be reckoned as godly on account of his waywardness. It is this dynamic I will mine further from the Minor Prophets—the dynamic of the Devious.

From the beginning God has established a certain worship. From the beginning Man has perverted this worship. And what is worse is Man demands, in the face of God, to be treated and esteemed as holy, righteous and good for the way He twists, perverts and blasphemes God's worship. In my opinion, the details of how this was and is done are immaterial. The fact is, God gives a clear directive regarding proper worship, combines it with His Promise—a Promise which always has Christ as it's Object—and Man sets about perverting the directive while still wanting to have the Promise bestowed upon Him.

This dynamic began with Adam and continues right up to the present time. Man demands to be made righteous apart from the Word of God and by his own works. This dynamic is aggravated by the fact that God does things in a way that SEEM ridiculous to man's mind—his reason. Man is always about judging God's Work by his powers of reason, which are so powerfully acute to him. During the prophets' time the Jews had what they believed were sound Scriptural reasons not to believe God would remove them from their Land. But they perverted the Word of the Lord and when God decided to add different hues and textures to His Grand Plan, they used His own Words against Him, just as those who died in the Flood used against Noah: "Listen Noah, everything God made was good, you fool! Why in the world would He destroy it!"

Of course, today we have to listen to christians who reject the proper use of Communion but want to be such grand and holy people that they need not HEAR Christ's own warning: "When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?" Christ clearly foresaw the apostasy of Today's Church and gave it severe and sufficient warning. But what is It's response? "God is Love! For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him would not perish but have everlasting life." And how does It define "belief?" ANY WAY IT WANTS. The people of this Laodicean Cesspool "believe" so strongly they do not have to heed any warning, so convinced they are of their worshipful ways.

Now, here is where the details as to how specifically a group of people in a certain time period were perverting the pure worship of God would be relevant. Frankly, I don't care to argue with these Whores and Whoremongers who have fallen in love with the greed and perversion of the American Dream, which Dream has spread across the whole world as cancer spreads throughout the body. It is obvious God's Spirit has ceased to dwell amongst them because they do an injustice to virtually every verse in the New Testament; therefore I care only about the Remnant—those Few God always preserves to uphold His Word and show forth His glory.

My purpose in this compilation is to make sure you understand the judgment of God. As Peter says, "as though some strange thing happened to you." I am preparing you, should it be the will of God, to experience the judgment of God upon this godless age without being confused, confounded or losing courage. In short, the reason for this coming judgment (the more severe spiritual judgment has already taken place… the loss of the meaning of the Word of God) can be summed up with these few verses: You shall not add anything to the word which I speak to you, nor take anything from it (Deuteronomy 4:2); This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. They worship Me in vain, however, in that they teach the doctrines and precepts of men (Isaiah 29:13 and Matthew 15:8); Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from faith by giving heed to erring spirits and to doctrines of devils through those who speak lies in hypocrisy, whose conscience is seared (I Timothy 4:1-5) There shall arise among you false teachers who shall secretly bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord who brought them. Because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their GREED they will exploit you with false words (11 Peter 2:1-3); Even if we ourselves or an angel from heaven, should preach to you another gospel than that we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say AGAIN, If anyone is preaching to you another gospel beyond that which you have received, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:8-9).

Also Matthew 23:10: "Do not let yourselves be called masters. One Master is in you, even Christ." I ask you, does not each fracture in today's church, each church on every corner in town, indicate a "master"—someone who thinks he knows just a little more than all the others? And Luke 10:16: "He who hears you, hears Me; and he who rejects you, rejects Me." Has not the church of the last 500 years rejected one through whom God clearly spoke, Martin Luther? For this reason God is going to judge the liars according to Proverbs 30:5-6: "Every word of God proves true; and is a shield to all who put their trust in it. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you, and you be found a liar."

This is the most important section of this offering because it deals with God's people in Tribulation. I must do what I can to encourage, comfort and aid understanding to a people experiencing the wrath of God. True, God's people are "not appointed unto wrath," but they often must experience the fringes of it while being shielded in the hollow of God's loving hand. And the experience is good for the strengthening of His children's faith.

I do not know To Whom I am addressing these words of comfort and understanding. To my family? To a grafted-in Israel? To no one? What I know is that when the Spirit says, "Type," I type. I don't care one bit that I don't have all the answers; God shares His knowledge on a need-to-know basis and obviously I am not in the need-to-know category. What I do know better than any man alive is that Christ comes in bread, water, and wine; I know, better than any man alive, that the world—especially the so-called christian of today—has rejected this Coming just as the Jews of old killed His prophets and rejected Christ's first coming.

I absolutely know I am sent of God; I have pleaded with the church for 15 years to return to the truth of the Word. I have been completely ignored, so cold and hard is the heart of man today, pressed down upon by the sheaves of greed growing abundantly across this whole world. Greed is what the church wants today; greed is what God is giving them and will give them in abundance until Christ comes and destroys them while the meat is still stuck between their greedy teeth. I have no pity on them and look forward to the coming destruction. "When your calamity comes, I will laugh," saith the Lord. I've already started to smile; I feel a chuckle coming on; I can hardly wait for the belly-laugh. I can hardly wait. How long! O Lord. How long!

I suspect my family will die out for the most part before the coming Distress; I suspect I am writing this primarily to the twelve tribes of Israel. To Whomever I am writing this please know that God allows His enemies to rage but sets limits on what He actually allows them to DO. I suspect there will be a literal Antichrist; although the spirit of antichrist has completely taken over the whole earth. How do I know this? How do I judge? The earth has no empathy for the hearty teaching of Martin Luther—the most relevant person in the last 500 years. He restored the pure teaching of the Word of God, which teaching no one cares about—NO ONE, no, NOT ONE. They have all gone astray, they have all gone out of the way, there is none that doeth good, no not one.

So, whatever trial the Christian must experience, here are some most important principles to remember:

God always announces repentance before His wrath comes. Luther is a 500-year sermon urging a turning away from one's own reasoning and toward the truth of the Word. Hosea 1:1

Man's arrogance drives God toward a position of "no pity." Don't think this stance is strange and certainly do not take it personally so long as you adhere to the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. Hosea 1:6

God obscures prophecy because of those who do not believe so that it is not seen until it is fulfilled. Hosea 1:11

God's wrath always comes because the vast majority of those who CLAIM to serve Him only serve themselves. Hosea 2:5-8

Because those who want to be called by God's name resist the Truth, a significant portion of His wrath is evidenced by the fact that the hypocrite becomes confounded, confused, disoriented. The genuine People of God are also tempted to be confused, but tenaciously hang onto the Promise of God given by His prophets. Hosea 2:10

This wrath always comes after God has made it abundantly clear He has a "controversy" with His people, and they refuse to have guileless dialogue with Him. Again, Luther has been a 500 year old dialogue with the whole world. Hosea 4:1

The more the world senses the wrath of God the more dedicated it becomes to its idolatrous, self-chosen worship and thus the harder their hearts become. Hosea 5:1

The conscience, under duress, will at some point, assert itself: "I have this coming." Watch for it and don't be fooled or surprised by it. Hosea 5:5

People in tribulation feel the punishment but rarely the blame and guilt. But you continue to allow your pain and guilt drive you to the safety of the Lord. Be angry with yourself, as David, and sin not—don't make your own atonement for your sin and guilt. Take and eat. Hosea 5:13

God has specially prepared Antichrist to consume the hypocrite—not you. Hosea 7:6

Even in tribulation the false christian does not cry out to God from the heart. Hosea 7:14

Those who speak truth to a distressed people will be oppressed: CRY OUT AGAINST THEM ALL THE MORE. Lift up your voice like a trumpet (Isaiah 58:1). Hosea 8:1

If the Jew is to be restored, they must be cleansed and retreat back to what they had spurned; then they shall be innocent of their Great transgression (Psalm 19:13). Hosea 8:5

At some point God will especially curse the economic system (Revelation 18) Hosea 9:2

You WILL be considered a fool by the God-hating church crowd. They will call you an "insane and furious man, a man who deals in irresponsible nonsense." Hosea 9:8

They will not allow you to explain Things to them, YOU who they should have cherished. Hosea 9:9

"God will not add that I love them." There is no hope for their (especially the Gentile church) continued existence; "the ax is laid to the root." Hosea 9:15

The hypocrites will say to the mountains, "Cover us; fall upon us!" Hosea 10:8

God punishes people for a "double iniquity": turning from the Word (Luther) and defending their turning (fighting against Luther). Hosea 10:10

If the Jews are to be converted they must embrace the fact that idolatry is a chronic evil in them. "From birth you were called a rebel" (Isaiah 48:8). Stephen: "You have never stopped being naughty." Acts 7:51 Hosea 11:1

God does not follow the entire path of His wrath because He wants to preserve His reputation for mercy; He wants you to cry out to HIM in distress. Hosea 11:9

Hypocrites do not cling to the Word of God as their fathers did, but pervert the true religion of their fathers, just as "Luther's" religion has been perverted by everyone for 500 years, beginning with Zwingli and Calvin, his evil twin. Hosea 12:5

The first coming of Christ and the Last Day are always spoken of as if they are present. Hosea 12:9

God's prophets speak for God; speak for God. Hosea 12:10

The whole purpose of the tribulation is to bring people to SHAME and drive them to confess that Jesus is Lord, just before God casts them down into Hell. Hosea 12:14

Sin brings on bloodshed—NOT YOUR PREACHING. Hosea 12:14

Because of all the warm, fuzzy feelings they had when worshipping falsely, God will cut their hearts to pieces—DON'T PITY THEM. Hosea 13:7

The world will put its trust in Antichrist, but he will not be able to save when God's wrath appears. Hosea 13:9

No matter what happens, do not trust in your own strength or any means other than the Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hosea 14:3-6

The only Sustenance you need is Communion. Hosea 14:7

The Kingdom and Word of Christ stand firm in persecution and prosperity. Hosea 14:8

Those who understand the will of the Lord are not terrified by the cross of Christ. Hosea 14:9

It is your duty to call people to REPENT, but FEW will listen. Joel 1:5

You will see very sad sights which you must steel yourself against, such as the slaughter of animals and the destruction of the earth. Joel 1:18

"When people say, 'There is peace and security', then sudden destruction will come upon them." I Thessalonians 5:3. Joel 2:2

The Day of the Lord is about terrifying consciences. Hold yours secure in the Promise of Communion. Joel 2:11

Ignore the increase in false worship and false repentance as God's wrath gets hotter. Make sure repentance conforms to what Luther taught. Joel 2:13

Help those who truly repent to run to the mercy of God for cover. Joel 2:13

Isaiah 57:1 "DEVOUT MEN ARE TAKEN AWAY, WHILE NO ONE UNDERSTANDS." Trust the will and wisdom of God.

Yours will be an agonizing ministry of raising up troubled consciences. Joel 2:14

WHY ARE YOU CAST DOWN, O MY SOUL, WHY ARE YOU DISQUIETED WITHIN ME? HOPE IN GOD, FOR I SHALL STILL PRAISE HIM! Psalm 42:5

BE GRACIOUS TO ME, O LORD, FOR I AM LANGUISHING, DELIVER ME FOR THE SAKE OF THY STEADFAST LOVE, FOR IN DEATH THERE IS NO REMEMBRANCE OF THEE; IN SHEOL WHO CAN GIVE THEE PRAISE? Psalm 6:2-5

Abstain and hold yourself back from pleasures and delights. Joel 2:15

The Apostle Paul: "Surely God has not rejected his people altogether, for I myself am an Israelite."

You will be tempted to lose your courage and your senses. Joel 2:20

The Lord will do great things for YOU. Psalm 126:3 Joel 2:20

Do not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Joel 2:26

You have the Holy Spirit and will be led by this Blessed Force. Joel 2:28

ALL of you are taught by God. Isaiah 54:13

Let my daughters prophesy! Joel 2:29

Know that God sent Luther to help make your conscience CERTAIN in these last days. Joel 2:30

WHOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE DELIVERED. What is the phone number? C.O.M.M.U.N.I.O.N Joel 2:32

Watch for the next gathering of the nations. The last gathering was in the Temple at Jerusalem. Joel 3:2

At this next gathering God will judge them. They were first judged and conquered in and by the Gospel of Christ. Joel 3:2

Gird yourself like a man for war! Joel 3:9

Let the Weak say, "I AM A WARRIOR." Joel 3:10

Enjoy being weak in the eyes of the world, of being "refuse," in their opinion. I have the greatest faith ever given to a man by God and I have been reduced to taking a ton of garbage to the refuse station every week for 15 years. I Corinthians 4:13

The weapons of your warfare are not worldly. I Corinthians 10:4

I believe the nations will literally be gathered about the valley of Jehoshaphat. Joel 3:12

Here, God will make a second treading of the grapes; He first tread the grapes (nations) at Pentecost. Joel 3:13

The wickedness of the nations is now full. Joel 3:13

The Lord will roar from Zion a second time when He steps foot on the Mount of Olives. The first time was when He roared with the Gospel of Jesus. Joel 3:16

Man does not live by bread alone, but by the Word of God. Deuteronomy 8:3

Luther: "No doubt, since we have the Word of God so very clearly, we ought to be waiting for a great upheaval." COULD clearness set in sometime during the first half of the last seven years which brings about an "upheaval"?

You are Amos-prophets; prophets who are insignificant and from an insignificant place. Amos 1:1 Luther: In contempt of those who become proud, the Lord often arouses humble, common men who do not belong to the prophetic order. These lowly people resist all the others.

When God judges, watch how "flight perishes from the swift." Amos 2:13

Those who come to the Lord during the Last Days will need to be vexed so they come to truly know the Lord and the power of His might. Ezekiel 9:6 "Begin at My sanctuary." I Peter 4:17 "For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who do not believe the Gospel of God?"

"Can two walk together except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3 God has beat the Jew black and blue for 2,000 years. I believe this punishment will finally "pay off" and God and the converted Jew will walk together and do great things together at the end of time.

Surely the Lord does NOTHING without revealing it to His prophets. Amos 3:7 God will make clear His Word to you concerning the Last Days BEFORE they happen. Be prepared to receive His revelations. My revelation is consistent with a dream I had 12 years ago: I was atop Luther's home putting a single ceramic roof tile in place—straightening it just a bit to get it to fit. Eschatology is that tile and this paper is the nestling of it into place which is to become the foundation for you to build upon. This is only the foundation (I use this word "foundation" in great humility. I think of it more as a flimsy springboard which you can use to reach Luther who will teach you about the Foundation, Jesus Christ, who is the foundation of true salvation for those reeling under their sin, shame, guilt and fear) ; you will receive much more information from the Lord as the time is relevant.

Don't be surprised at the stupidity of those who spiral away from the Word. "They do not know how to do right. Amos 3:10 They lack common sense; they become as stupid as unthinking cattle—Luther.

God is always angry in such a way that a Remnant is always saved. Amos 3:12

Go will have NO CONSIDERATION for the dignity of even women when He judges. Amos 4:3

Just before God is ready to strike, He, as it were, eggs them on to commit themselves even more fervently to their false religion. Amos 4:4

So few will see the true greatness of God. He is so great that "He gives to man His own eloquence" (Amos 4:13). Luther: His Divine Majesty belongs so properly to us that He even gives us the words which we are going to utter.

The Word of God and Its Proclaimers are "burdens" because they announce the wrath of God and people don't want to believe they have done anything to deserve this wrath. Amos 5:1-2

What does God want the Jews to do? SEEK ME! Amos 5:4 Where will they find Him who they pierced? Under the bread of Communion.

This is what ALL those do who pervert the Word: they turn justice to wormwood. Amos 5:7 What otherwise is very sweet they turn into bitter poison for themselves and their followers.

It is "an evil time" because evil people are in the majority. Amos 5:13

These most wicked people believe God is with them. Amos 5:14

The Wicked will not believe the wrath of God is coming. Those of Noah's day did not believe it and those of the Last Day will not believe it. Amos 5:18 II Peter 3:4 "They say, 'Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation." SMUGNESS!

Watch and enjoy as you see these Wicked try and flee from God. They will be as a man who tries to flee from a lion. Amos 5:19

GOD HATES AND DESPISES THEIR FALSE WORSHIP. Amos 5:21 It doesn't matter whether the perversion is as complex as what the Jews and papists have done or as simple as deleting "is" from the Bible—it's all simply false worship.

Everything will be so full of weeping that they clearly will no longer recall the preaching of the name of the Lord. They will be able to do nothing but complain. Amos 6:10

Wicked people become more and more USELESS to God—and society-at-large. Just look around you! USELESSNESS EVERYWHERE. Amos 6:12

It will seem impossible that the Kingdom of Antichrist will fall. Amos 7:4

False prophets will mock you. Amos 7:10 Evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceivers and deceived. II Timothy 3:13

They will twist your words so as to make you a greater object of hatred. Amos 7:11

YOU are a "herdsman." Your livelihood does not come from preaching; you are not in pursuit of your own wealth, but are content to be a tentmaker with Paul and a herdsman with Amos. Amos 7:15

The Wicked and all that belongs to them will be thoroughly destroyed. Amos 8:1 Revelation 18

The multitude of dead bodies will cause a great silence. Amos 8:3 Meditate on the idea of "voiceless shades."

So many very beautiful persons could have been so useful to God had only they believed the Word. Amos 8:13

When God's wrath comes people never feel safe. Amos 9:2 "Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you will be in dread and have no assurance of your life." Deuteronomy 28:66

When God gives the command to "shake," the foundations of human society will forcefully fall. Amos 9:9

The Jews will have to see that God "raised up the tent of David" in the Person of Christ. Amos 9:11

What I am saying certainly comes from the Lord. When you hear me speaking to you, imagine that it is in fact the Lord speaking to you. LISTEN! LISTEN! All of you, pay attention to the Lord when you hear me. Therefore, BELIEVE ME! Micah 1:2

Those who have falsified the promise of God rage against those who try to correct them. Micah 2:6-7

The "devout" are enemies of God. Don't be fooled by their devotion. Micah 2:8

A godly attitude: "Would that I were a windy man, would that I were a futile, false liar, so that those terrible things with which I threaten you may not take place." Micah 2:11

Their preaching of peace will cause them to become blind so that when they really need help they will be able to see nothing. Micah 3:6

Rejoice! The false preachers shall be disgraced! Micah 3:7

God will not answer them when they cry out in frustration. Micah 3:7

But YOU, YOU are filled with power from on High. Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season. Micah 3:8

Antichrist is quite confident of his victory, but he does not "know the thoughts of the Lord." Micah 4:12

The Jew will have to humble himself to believe the eternity of Christ. Micah 5

The Jew will have to resolve the controversy the Lord has with them. Micah 6

The Jew will have to move past his contempt for the Lord. Micah 7

Even if you are punished along with the wicked, yet hope for better things from the Lord. Micah 7:7

Bear the indignation of the Lord and await certain freedom. Micah 7:9 The wicked fall apart in the face of the Lord's indignation.

"The Lord is a jealous God and avenging," He will repay those who have abused His People, the Remnant. Nahum 1:2

"The Lord is slow to anger." God allows His enemies to become violently enraged to the point that Any help seems impossible. He gives them all the rope they need to accomplish HIS purpose. HE WILL BE AT HAND. He will come. You keep respectfully saying, "How long, O Lord!" Nahum 1:3

If the Lord can make Israel cross through the Reed Sea, He can do anything. Nahum 1:4

Here is what YOU do: Imagine your foes are very strong; imagine they are well armed, that they are resourceful and wise; imagine they have many armies, all of which threaten you with destruction. Let none of these bother you at all. Let them cause you NO FEAR, no matter how well-equipped and numerous they are." Nahum 1:12 "Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world." John 1:4:4

YOU continue to be the one who treads the mountains with the tidings of Great Joy. Nahum 1:15

"Woe to the bloody city!" Nahum 3:1 "She betrays nations with her harlotries"—nations in alliance with her. Nahum 3:4 The Lord will cause this city to be filth to everyone! Nahum 3:5

Revelation 18

The judgment of God against this city will be obvious and there is no assuaging its hurt. Nahum 3:19

REJOICE! The names of the most fervent false-worshippers will be completely blotted out!!! Zephaniah 1:4 The fact that they gave some lip service to Luther will not help them. Nahum 1:5

The LORD will destroy ALL those who turn back from following the LORD, who do not seek the LORD nor care for Him—do not call upon God (Psalm 14:4). Zephaniah 1:6 They want to say: "But we do call upon the Lord!" You will laugh and say: "You must call upon Him in the way He wants to be called upon! You just cannot BE SILENT BEFORE THE LORD!" Zephaniah 1:7

Because the wicked must talk when they should be listening, the LORD has prepared Himself a sacrifice—THEM and their followers. Zephaniah 1:7

The more they mock you and blaspheme your Message the more they bring about the Great Day of the LORD. Zephaniah 1:14 This day of reckoning is a most bitter day of wrath, darkness and gloom. Zephaniah 1:14-16 On this Day their blood will be poured out like dust and their bodies will be treated as dung. Zephaniah 1:17 NOTHING can help them now that the jealous wrath of God has commenced. Zephaniah 1:18

The kingdom of Antichrist will be a shameless nation, just as the Jewish State of old. Zephaniah 2:1

The more They exalt themselves in their shame, the more YOU humble yourselves before the mighty hand of God Who will exalt you in due season—YOU who are now despised and ridiculed by the world. Zephaniah 2:3

OH THAT THOU WOULDST CONCEAL ME UNTIL THY WRATH BE PAST. Job 14:13 You are concealed, it just doesn't SEEM like it.

What do Jew and Gentile have in common? They all, together, listen to no voice, accept no correction and don't trust the Lord. Just LOOK at how the world has marginalized Luther the last 500 years. You deserve what you get for your stubbornness. May God not have mercy on you. Zephaniah 3:1-3

Also, the wicked interpret all that is spiritual in a most carnal way. Zephaniah 3:4

May the Jew of the future be as quick in turning to the Lord as they have been in running to wickedness. Zephaniah 3:7

The only DECISION that matters is that of Christ. Zephaniah 3:8

May the Jew of the future stumble upon a pure speech—that of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Zephaniah 3:9 May they become true saints, pure in doctrine and life. Zephaniah 3:11

"That every mouth be shut and the whole world become accountable to God, so that whoever glories, let him glory in the Lord." Romans 3:19/Jeremiah 9:24

If you do this, God will cast out your enemies. Zephaniah 3:15

The King of Israel has been "in your midst" these past 2,000 years but you continued to reject Him Whom you crucified. Zephaniah 3:15

When your heart is renewed through the Gospel of God, PERSIST! DON'T STOP! PERSEVERE! The LORD will rejoice over you with much gladness! AND He will give you a clear ("silent") conscience. Zephaniah 3:16-17

When your doctrine is pure and sound, let the criticisms regarding your life bounce off your back like darts off a crocodile. Zephaniah 3:18

Be patient: Christ will change your shame into praise. YES, He will! Zephaniah 3:19

"If God is for us, who is against us?" Romans 8:31

Fulfill your calling! BE ON TIME! Don't make excuses for not doing the clear will of God. Haggai 1:2

"I AM NOT AFRAID OF TEN THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE SET THEMSELVES AGAINST ME ROUND ABOUT." Psalm 3:6

"Consider your ways, O Jew." Can you not see God has been punishing you these last 2,000 years. WHY is it things have turned out so badly for you? "Place your hearts above your ways." Haggai 1:5

God will give you a clear command as to what you are to do and when you are to do it. Haggai 1:8

God very easily reduces the present forces to nothing; when God curses, nothing succeeds. Conversely, God can send the greatest blessing into abject poverty, as it is God's nature to make all things out of nothing, to make out of total need the greatest wealth, and most felicitous outcome and success of all things. Haggai 1:9

PREACH! You will be given Fruit. Haggai 1:12

God will stir up a Zerubbable for you. He will make you enthusiastic. PREACH in His holy name. Haggai 1:14 "No one comes to Me unless My Father has drawn him." John 6:65

Don't despise the timeline of the Lord. All of history is as a poppy seed before Him. Don't subject God's timeline to your wisdom and reason. You focus on the Word rather than on present things. God is nearer than you think and believe. Haggai 2:3

Get it straight: FEAR NOT. God will give you a daring and confident heart! FEAR NOT. Haggai 2:5

Come into your New Temple, prepared for you through the shed blood of Christ. Haggai 2:7

The LORD bid you farewell many years ago; I pray He bids you a hearty and holy "Hello!" Malachi 1:2

Even faithful saints tempt the Lord, saying, "Where are Your mercies which were of old?" They consider God's prophets liars. Malachi 1:2

It SEEMS as if God loves Ishmael more, if you look only at the externals. But God does love you, even though this love is mixed in and involved with the cross of Christ. If you have been weak, WAIT! This weakness is a test of your faith. Malachi 1:2

CONFESS: "Our priests have despised the name of God." Malachi 1:6 DON'T ARGUE—CONFESS.

To accept just any religious dribble and doctrine as equally legitimate is as if you said: "The Table of the LORD is worthless and despicable." Malachi 1:7

Would you really present a work of your own hands to your civic leader which was of the slip-shod quality of your patchwork religion? Think about it! You grab whatever is on the shelf of your mind and mix it in. Would your authority be pleased with such shoddy work? Malachi 1:7

WOULD SOME ONE PLEASE HAVE THE COURAGE AND DIGNITY TO SHUT DOWN THIS FARSE OF FALSE RELIGION. Write ICHABOD across its doors and wait for the fire of the LORD to consume it. Malachi 1:10

Every teaching of conscience comes in the name of the Lord. But YOU don't be false witnesses of the Truth. Malachi 2:2 "Woe to you if you are found to be false witnesses of the LORD." I Corinthians 15:15 Let him who speaks make sure he speaks as the mouthpiece of God. Make sure of it. Luther makes you sure if you allow him to sink into the depths of your heart.

Dear Jew, you must come to realize God has been throwing dung in your face for 2,000 years. Malachi 2:3

"THE LIPS OF A PRIEST GUARD KNOWLEDGE." Malachi 2:7 We/You are all a kingdom of priests. Do your job: STAND GUARD OVER WHAT LUTHER TAUGHT—he taught us the true meaning of the Apostle Paul.

CONFESS: "We have caused many to stumble into hell." Malachi 2:8

TAKE NO PITY ON ANYONE WHO CORRUPTS THE WORD OF GOD. Malachi 2:12

CONFESS: "We have wearied the LORD with our hypocrisy." Malachi 2:17

CONFESS: GOD HAS SENT HIS MESSENGER. Malachi 3:1

Blessed is the man who does not take offense at Christ because of His apparent lowliness. Matthew 11:6

Be a true son of Levi, purified in an earthen furnace, seven times. Malachi 3:3 Psalm 12:6

Present a true sacrifice in righteousness—the sacrifice of simply believing the New Covenant: THIS IS MY BODY, THIS IS MY BLOOD, GIVEN TO YOU FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. TAKE AND EAT. Malachi 3:3

Unless you do, God will be a witness against you and He will not leave anything hidden, but will bring to light all your wicked darkness. YOU WILL BE EXPOSED. Malachi 3:5

Merit does not matter; ALL must be credited to divine goodness. Malachi 3:6

You must confess you have robbed God of His glory and in the process have committed the unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit, which is DEFENDING your lies and robbery. Malachi 3:8

"Bring in the full tithe" (Malachi 3:10), that is "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Matthew 6:33

CONFESS: We have murmured against the Gentiles despite the fact that God only wanted to bring them the Good Tidings of Father Abraham. Oh! How jealous we have been. Malachi 3:13

Commune with and amongst yourselves and do not be upset because of the good fortune of the wicked. Malachi 3:16

The "day" has come; the day of Christ's Kingdom wherein He ruled in the hearts of believers. A significant aspect of this reign is over because the "day" of the Gentiles is all but over, unless the Jew is grafted back into the Olive Tree and converts Gentiles during the Tribulation. Malachi 4:1

Christ has healing in His wings and how He wanted you to take refuge under His wings, but you would not. Seek shelter under these wings and you shall tread down the wicked. Malachi 4:2-3

CONFESS: We perverted the words of Moses who tried to teach us about Christ; all we cared about was our self-righteousness. Malachi 4:4

Christ is coming to smite the earth with a curse and that right soon. LOOK UP for your Redemption draws near—VERY NEAR. Malachi 4:6

See Christ as the center of Scripture and communion as the temporal center of Christ and you will not fear the terror of the night, (threats, hatred, envy of evil men) nor the arrow that flies by day, (the open slander, contradiction, reviling, backbiting, and cursing of the ungodly) nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, (secret intrigues, devices, tricks and pacts of the church crowd) nor the destruction that wastes at noonday (open persecution of Antichrist). Psalm 91:5-6 Allow the peace of Christ which passes understanding help you to understand that "every plant which Christ's Father has not planted MUST be rooted up and burned." Matthew 15:13

Under the truth of Psalm 118: The ungodly stoke quite a fire with thorns wherewith to boil the godly; but before the water hardly begins to get warm their fire dies out. So the persecutors perish before they have consumed the righteous. IN THE NAME OF THE LORD YOU SHALL CUT THEM OFF, just as Luther cut off the papists and the protesting heretics AND laid the foundation for the cutting off of Antichrist. Luther spoke and wrote as a man acutely aware of his prophetic mission and whose life and work stand in the light of the coming kingdom of Christ.

Above all things Luther explained again the purpose of the Law, the essence of the Gospel and their eternal distinction. The true intention of Moses is through the Law to reveal sin and put to shame all presumption as to human ability. For this reason Saint Paul (Galatians 2:17) calls Moses an agent of sin and his office a dispensation of death (II Corinthians 3:7). Romans 3:20 and 7:7 says that through the Law comes nothing more than knowledge of sin, and by the works of the Law no one becomes righteous before God. Therefore it is all the fault of Moses, who by the Law precipitates and stirs up sin; and then upon sin death follows with a vengeance. But this office of Moses is very good and necessary because where there is no law of God, there all human reason is so blind that it cannot recognize sin. For human reason does not know that unbelief and despair of God is grave sin. Moses' office is essential for driving away this blindness and hardened presumption.

The Gospel is NOTHING but the Good News of Jesus Christ whereby Christ, through His death, calls those who have been beat down by their sin and conscience—who know they need the remedy of the Great Physician—to take His yoke upon them and learn truly Who He is, that His burden is light and His yoke is easy. Why this lightness and ease? Because HE DOES IT ALL; WE DO NOTHING OTHER THAN BELIEVE His last will and testament: THIS IS MY BODY, THIS IS MY BLOOD, GIVEN TO YOU FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SIN—TAKE AND EAT. With this Precious Inheritance in our mind and heart all things become easy and light in the face of His glory and grace.

Even when God allows his great saints to falter in adversity, as He did Job, it is a light thing. It was heavier for Job because Job was a member of the false church and was not taught nearly as eloquently as God had taught Abraham. But when death looms before anyone and it seems that God withdraws Himself, we have wrong thoughts about God. We think that God is only a tyrant who storms ahead and cares nothing about the goodness of a person's life. Very Few understand God's purpose at these times when it SEEMS the grace of God is hidden. In the midst of Trial, God wants us to feel as if we are just barely hanging on so as to experience from our innermost that God does all things from our nothingness. He is truly RIGHT THERE hiding behind our feeble nothingness just as Solomon spoke of him hiding from afar behind the lattice in Song.

In the prophets we see that things have never turned out well for any man who has despised God's threatening, even though they were the mightiest emperors and kings or the holiest and most learned people on whom the sun ever shone. On the other hand we see that no one has ever been deserted who has DARED to rely upon God's comforts and promises, even though they were the most miserable and the poorest sinners and beggars that were ever on the earth, indeed, even though it were a slain Abel and a swallowed Jonah. By this the prophets prove to us that God holds fast to His first commandment and wills to be a gracious Father to the poor and believing, and that for him no one is too small or too despised. He wills, however, to be an angry Judge to the godless and the proud; and for Him no one is too great, too mighty, too wise, too holy, be it emperor, pope, Turk and the devil besides.

What an utterly audacious and wild life everyone now lives, following his own self-will and contrary to the clear truth which was made plain at the Reformation! It appears as if neither God nor Christ amounted to anything, not to mention that the stringency of God's first commandment should be so watered down! So the watchword is, "I have the Spirit; I have the Spirit as much as you." The question is whether the prophets are lying and deceiving us with their stories and sermons. To be sure, there is in the prophets more of threatening and rebuke than of comfort and promise. And it is good to observe the reason for this. The godless always outnumber the righteous. Therefore one must inculcate the law much more than the promises. Even without the promises, the godless feel secure; they are most agile in applying the divine comforts and promises to themselves and the threats and rebukes to others.

Of course these most holy people are far too holy to commit idolatry—just as the Jews of old. Idolatry, however, consists of letting go of the worship which has been instituted and ordered whether at Jerusalem or in the midst of the Church, and trying to do it better. These most holy people of God establish their own notions and opinions, and without God's command. They concoct new forms and persons and change wording to suit their notions, even though Moses had strictly forbidden this, especially in Deuteronomy 12. This false thinking IS IDOLATRY. Yet it, idolatry, is regarded as a fine and precious thing and rely upon their whoredom as if they do well, even though it is outright disobedience and apostasy from God and His commands.

With this thinking they fill the land with idolatry. And all this had to be called worshipping the God of Israel. Whoever said differently was a heretic and a false prophet. This is the real committing of idolatry, to set up a form of divine worship and service without God's bidding, simply out of one's own pious inclination. For God will not have us teach HIM how HE is to be served. He wills to teach us and to prescribe for us. His Word is supposed to be there; it is supposed to enlighten and guide us. Without His Word ALL is idolatry and outright lies, however devout and beautiful it may appear to be.

From this example of Israel the prophets railed against, it follows that among us Christians all those people are idolatrous who have invented or are following new ways of worshipping God, without commission or command, simply out of their own pious inclination and, as they say, GOOD INTENTIONS. They are thereby putting their reliance on works which they themselves have chosen, and not simply and exclusively on Jesus Christ. The prophets call such people adulteresses; they are not satisfied with their own husband, Jesus Christ, but run after other men as well, as though Christ alone could be of no help without us and our works, or as though Christ alone had not redeemed us and we had to do something toward it ourselves. Still we know very well that we did absolutely nothing toward having Him die for us, taking our sins upon Himself and bearing them on the cross, not only before the whole world could even think of any such thing.

"Of course," they say, "with their worship the children of Israel served idols, and not the true God; but in our churches we serve the true God and the one Lord Jesus Christ. For we have nothing to do with idols." But this is what Israel said too! They all declared that their entire worship was devoted to the true God. They certainly would not allow anyone to call it the worshipping of idols any more than today's clergy would allow it. On this account they killed and persecuted all the true prophets. For they too would truly have nothing to do with idols. Even the mother of Micah is thinking of the true God, to whom she has vowed the silver, to have a graven image and a molten image made of it. For she does not say, "I have vowed this silver to an idol," but to the "Lord," a word which is known among all the Jews to mean the one true God. The Turk also does the same thing; in his worship he names and has in mind the true God who created heaven and earth. All religions now do this. Nevertheless it is all sheer idolatry.

It doesn't help, then, that all the religious crowd today allege that in their churches they serve no idol, but only God, the true LORD. For here you learn that it is not enough to say or think, "I am doing it to God's glory; I have in mind the true God; I mean to be worshipping and serving the only God." ALL idolaters say and intend the very same thing. The thinking and intending is not what counts, otherwise those who martyred the apostles and the Christians would also have been God's servants. For they too thought that they were offering service to god, as Christ says in John 16:2; and Saint Paul in Romans 10:2 bears witness to the Jews that they have a zeal for God, and adds in Acts 26:7 that with their worship night and day they hope to attain to the promised salvation.

On the contrary, let EVERYONE—EACH AND EVERYONE—see to it that he is CERTAIN his worship and service of God has been instituted by God's Word, and not invented by his own pious notions or good intentions. Whoever engages in a form of worship to which God has not borne witness ought to know that he is serving, not the true God, but an idol that he has concocted for himself—no matter how large he makes the letters, "THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME." That is to say, he is serving his own notions and false ideas, and thereby the devil himself; and the words of all the prophets are against him. For the God who would have us establish worship and service of Him according to our own choice and inclination—without His commission and Word—does not exist. There is only one God; He who through His Word has abundantly established and commissioned all the various stations of life and the forms of worship and service in which it is His will to be served. We should abide by this and not turn aside from it either to the right or to the left, doing neither more nor less, making it neither worse nor better. Because the religious crowd HAS been doing the True Enlightenment, the world, including even the Lutheran world, has become filled with idolatry, and it is IMPOSSIBLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN TRUE WORSHIP AND IDOLATRY, since all have the true God in mind, and all use His true Name.

THIS IS THE MESSAGE the future Jew must preach IF they are to be restored and convert anyone in the Last Days. And WHO they may convert is a mystery to me because I don't understand how the hearts of this world are to be prepared for the Word. Jesus Christ Himself said there would be no faith on earth when He returned; Hebrews speaks of a generation of Christians by whom God was so repulsed He would not even give them a name. And Christ's warning is clear, "As in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the Son of Man be." I know God can do all things through His Word and His Spirit; I'm not sure I want Him to. Why? Because I have experienced such a hardness of heart toward the things of God these last 15 years I would almost resent God saving any of this evil and adulterous generation. You are hard-hearted, callous, insensitive, without natural affection, selfish, self-willed, insubordinate, lovers of self, high-minded, smug and stupid to boot. Oh, and did I say, "Smug"? I hate you; with all my heart I hate you with a cruel hatred so zealous am I for the Lord God Almighty.

Well, if you deserve Godspeed, I pray it. In the meantime I will sit outside my Nineveh and await the fulfillment of all things, singing, praying and longing, earnestly desiring the time when there will be an eternal joy to the world who will receive her King forever; when every heart will have had room prepared for Him; when for all eternity I along with the redeemed of all the ages will employ our tongues to the eternal praise of Christ; when His eternal blessings will flow over the Redeemed so overwhelmingly I will not even remember my own sin, much less the miserable smugness of this Generation; when the glories of His truth and righteousness will have been eternally proved and we will stand in awe of His love, beauty and grace FOREVER.

Come, Joy, come!

Happy Birthday, my LORD.

Postscript concerning Daniel and the "fulfillment of all things":

II Corinthians 3:14-16: "The veil of Moses remains over the Scriptures so long as the Jews do not believe in Christ." Because of the hardness of their hearts they willfully missed the First Coming of Christ; in shutting their eyes to It they stumbled over It right into eternal destruction. May their eyes be opened in preparation for Christ's Second Coming and may you, my family, be instrumental to this end!

Through the Spirit and for the encouragement of Daniel's people, Daniel revealed there would be four great kingdoms: Assyrian/Babylonian, Medes and Persians, Alexander the Great and the last empire, which continues to this very day, the Roman Empire.

Daniel has most to say about the Roman empire. You must pay close attention. In 2:41-45, where the iron legs begin to divide into the toes of the feet, Daniel points out three things: the toes are divided indicating the split of the Empire into Spain, France, England and others, but transferred/transplanted from the Greeks to the Germans; the toes are dissimilar, partly iron and partly clay, indicating the Empire would alternate between might and weakness, nonetheless it must endure to the Last Day when Christ Himself will destroy it; and the weakness of the Roman Empire will cause it to seek strength by means of alliances with other nations.

The Stone (2:45) which destroys this last great empire is Christ Who was "cut out from the mountain" of the Jewish people, from whom Christ sprang. He is their flesh and blood but has been torn from them and has come among the Gentiles. Among the Gentiles He has become a Lord in all the world—in all four of these kingdoms to which Daniel refers and will so remain. I believe Christ will come forth from the reconstituted "mountain" of the Jews to destroy the Gentile nations who have rejected Christ and spurned their opportunity to take full advantage of Christ these last 2,000 years. "The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked." Psalm 58:10 "The wicked are pregnant with mischief and bring forth lies. Their mischief returns upon their own head, and on their own pate their violence descends." Psalm 7:14, 16

The Roman Empire will be broken up into ten kingdoms; Syria, Egypt, Asia Minor, Greece, North Africa, Spain, Gaul, Italy, Germany and England (and others). "One small horn" will knock off three of the top ten horns, meaning Mohammed or the Turk who now holds Egypt, Asia, and Greece. This same horn will fight the saints and blaspheme Christ. Just remember, the Turk will not knock off more than three horns.

Please remember that very much of Daniel is spent exactly explaining what was to transpire before the First Coming of Christ so that the Jews would not only be comforted but also not miss this Coming.

Antiochus, who did much harm to the Jews and whom God raised up the Maccabaeus against him, is a figure of the Antichrist, and came forth from Syria. According to Luther, several words in chapter twelve suggest and secretly disclose this.

Here is the basic breakdown of Daniel's Seventy Weeks: In the first seven weeks (49 years) the city shall be rebuilt in troublous times (compare John 2:20); at 69 weeks Messiah shall be cut off—the crucifixion; and Luther believes the last seven years indicates the Gospel Age. Here is where in great fear and nervous trepidation I respectfully, cautiously and with great humility adjust the "tile" on Luther's home back into place. I believe this last seven years pertains to a literal seven year period just before Christ's Second Coming. I believe Luther gives me tacit permission to do this because of the inexactness of his description of this last week of years. All the other weeks of Daniel's years were EXACT. May God forgive me if I am wrong. May God forgive me.

The twelfth chapter of Daniel has to do wholly with the Antichrist and with these last times in which we are living. The clear Gospel indicates and discloses plainly to everyone just who the real Antiochus is. It identifies clearly him who has magnified himself above every god, who has not simply failed to regard the love of women, but actually forbids it, in its place filling the world with the idolatrous worship of his own god and with carnal unchastity. He sets himself against the pure and honorable love of women which God created and commanded, namely, married love, since Daniel here reckons among the foremost crimes of the Antichrist that he does not regard the love of women. Daniel 12:2 states that the resurrection of the dead and the true redemption shall immediately follow the reign of Antichrist.

Luther: Daniel depicts the condition and state of the Roman Empire and the affairs of the world in such an ordered way that one CANNOT miss the Last Day or have it come upon him unawares, unless one does this willfully. Therefore it seems to me that Saint Peter had Daniel especially in mind when he says in First Peter 1:11, "The prophets searched what, and what manner of time the Spirit of Christ did signify." The "what" means that he definitely reckons and determines the time, how long and how many years it was to be until then. The "what manner" means that he depicts well how things are to be in the world at that time, who is to exercise supreme rule, or where the empire is to be. This strengthens our Christian faith immeasurably and makes us sure and firm in our consciences. For we see in operation before our very eyes that which he described and depicted for us so plainly and correctly in his book so long ago.

This Daniel we commend to the reading of all good Christians, to whom he is comforting and useful in these wretched, last times. But to the wicked he is of no use, as Daniel himself states in 12:10, "The wicked shall remain wicked and shall not understand." Daniel writes for us in order that we may be encouraged and made joyful and strengthened in faith and hope and patience. For here the righteous see and hear that their misery shall have an end, that they are to be freed from sins, death, the devil, and all evil—a freedom for which they yearn—and be brought into heaven, to Christ, into His blessed, everlasting Kingdom. This is how Christ too, in Luke 21:28, comforts His own by means of the terrible news, saying, "When you shall see these things, look up and raise your heads, because your Redemption is NEAR."
