Ask Luther Dot Com
Highlighting the works & teachings of Martin Luther, the 16th Century Reformer. If interested in a 2nd reformation, or concerned for the state of Christ's Church you'll find this site helpful.

August 15, 2001
For three years I have tried through the Spirit to get the church concerned about the Word of God: but the church will not. It is callous toward Luther, the great Interpreter of the Word, and the Word itself. Christians believe about the Word what they choose to believe about the Word, therefore, the Word has become nothing more than an array of private opinions. Great and mighty saints sacrifice Luther on the altar of their own opinions and they sacrifice the Word on their altar of love, whose filthy blood is quenching true faith. Everyone is secure in their Lord and has no need to be concerned over:

"When the Son of Man comes will He find faith on the earth?"
"As in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of man be."
"Even the Elect will be deceived."
"I will spew you out of my mouth."

Well, judgment must begin at the house of God, but we will not be judged, so we will be judged. May God have mercy on the Elect.

Ministers of the Word
God whispered His Word to Adam
Amidst the cool breezes of the evening;
God spoke Wordly promises to Abraham
As He pointed to the sand and the stars;
God beckoned with His Word through Christ
As a light proclaims haven to the nightstruck traveler;
God fervently proclaimed the Gospel-Word through Paul,
Unashamed though his countrymen hated him;
God roared His Word through Augustin
To make the Elect safe from the heretics;
God thundered His Word through Luther,
Who stood against the whole dark world facing death;
God is screaming His Word through me—
But the whole world and the Elect have gone deaf.

Sincerely,
Timothy Vance
